How to use this tool
- Enter the page count of your edition and the number of pages already read.
- Choose the days available and your intended reading sessions per day.
- Calculate the daily and session averages. Revise the remaining pages and days as your progress changes.
Build a reading plan around your mushaf
Formula
Remaining pages = edition page count − pages already read. Daily average = remaining pages ÷ available days. Session average = daily average ÷ sessions per day.
Worked example
With 300 pages remaining over 30 days, the average is 10 pages a day. Spread across five sessions, that is two pages per session. These are organisational choices, not prescribed devotional numbers.
Adjust the plan as you go
The default 604-page total is a common Madani edition; check your copy. Update progress and remaining time after missed days. Leave room for reflection, translation and pronunciation practice.
Common questions
Can I use another page count?
Yes. Change the edition total to match your mushaf.
Does finishing quickly matter more than understanding?
The planner sets an arithmetic pace, not a religious priority. Choose a routine that supports careful reading and learning.
